Sentosa Cove

With a background as a food consultant for a number of hospitality projects in Singapore, our client wanted to grow more of her own food to utilise in her own cooking at home. However, the saline environment at Sentosa Cove has made her previous edible-growing efforts unsuccessful. We came in to ammend the soil by adding compost, which acts as a buffer for between the plants and high salt content in the sandy soil, and creating micro-climates within the small site for the placement of salt-tolerant plants as a buffer for sea spray and hardier terrestial plants and trees more inland.
